Amman Khan Named Managing Partner of LA Office

We are delighted to announce that partner Amman Khan was appointed Managing Partner of the Los Angeles Office by Founder and Global Managing Partner, John Pierce this week.

Los Angeles was the birthplace of Pierce Bainbridge two and a half years ago, and Amman will soon be celebrating his second year at the firm in the LA office.

"Amman was an easy choice,” said John Pierce, “he’s been a leader at this firm since day one. He’s been a client-focused litigator for more than 21 years and he was one of the earliest partners to join us. I’m very excited to see him thrive and bring his charisma and energy into the position.”

Raised in Quebec, Canada, Amman is a fixture in California’s legal community and has been practicing law in Los Angeles for 21 years as a highly successful litigator and trial lawyer in business and trust cases.

Prior to Pierce Bainbridge, Amman ran his own firm for over 5 years and previously was a partner at Glaser, Weil.

On taking this role, Amman states, “Pierce Bainbridge litigates cases boldly, aggressively and with laser-like focus on what matters in a case.  We do this both nationally and internationally. I am honored to helm the Los Angeles Office where it all began and grateful that John Pierce and our Executive Committee has entrusted me with this role. I look forward to propelling Pierce
Bainbridge to an even bigger year than we had this year.”

Amman has served as lead trial lawyer on both the plaintiff side and the defense side. On the plaintiff side, Amman has achieved close to
$100 million dollars in judgments and settlements on behalf of his clients.
Amman also has extensive experience working with financial institutions, employers, television networks and the family offices of high net worth entrepreneurs.

Beyond the courtroom, Amman has experience in the classroom teaching tort, constitutional law and advocacy as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa, Common Law Section.

Amman has represented clients all over the globe including California, New York, Canada, India and Russia. He has also practiced law in both English and French.

Amman graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1994 with an LL.M.,
University of Ottawa, Common Law Section in 1993 with an LL.B., and McGill University in 1990 with a B.A. in Economics.

We are very proud and excited to have Amman in this leadership role!
