Janine Cohen graduated from Yale Law School in 1999 and began her career at O’Melveny & Myers where she worked primarily on the Exxon Valdez litigation. Most recently, Janine was a Partner at Gerard Fox Law in Los Angeles. Her practices focuses on all types of complex and other commercial litigation. Ms. Cohen has participated in jury trials, bench trials, and arbitration.

Represented multiple defendants in a federal jury trial in a Civil RICO and fraudulent transfer action and obtained a jury verdict in favor of all defendants on all causes of action.
Represented a commercial landlord in a state court bench trial involving a commercial lease to a data center tenant. Defeated all claims brought by the tenant against the landlord, prevailed on all counterclaims brought against the tenant, and obtained a large attorneys’ fee award.
Obtained a large verdict against Wells Fargo in a FINRA arbitration pertaining to an investment in Puerto Rico bonds.
Obtained a favorable settlement for a former NBA player against his former business manager for mismanaging his assets.
Obtained the dismissal of three class action cases in three different states against a provider of internet dating services for its alleged failure to comply with statutes regulating the provision of dating services.
