Jeffrey Alexander

Jeffrey R. Alexander is a partner in Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP’s New York office. Jeff represents corporations and individuals in significant securities, white collar, commercial, and accounting litigation. Jeff also has substantial experience leading discovery efforts involving complex financial frauds and taking depositions of expert witnesses and senior management. Prior to joining Pierce Bainbridge, Jeff primarily focused on securities litigation, recovering over $1 billion for shareholders of public companies in high-profile class actions.




Represented both corporate and individual defendants in a criminal securities fraud and SEC enforcement action in the Southern District of New York arising out of an alleged scheme to defraud relating to the resale of tickets for Hamilton and other Broadway shows and concerts.

Represented a timber company in a RICO and defamation civil action.

Obtained a $234 million settlement for Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Alberta and the Virginia Retirement System with respect to securities fraud claims arising from the bankruptcy of a large commodities brokerage.

Obtained a record $219 million settlement for Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Alberta and the Fresno County Employees’ Retirement System in the Eastern District of Virginia with respect to an insurance company’s fraudulent concealment of deteriorating long-term care reserves.

Obtained a $120 million settlement for the Anchorage Police & Fire Retirement System and Sacramento City Employees’ Retirement System with respect to an oil and gas company’s fraudulent tax accounting.

Obtained a $275 million settlement for the State of Michigan Retirement systems with respect to a major financial institution’s misrepresentations regarding its RMBS portfolio.

Represented U.S. Soccer in its bid to host the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.
