Melody McGowin is an associate in Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP's New York office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. Prior to joining Pierce Bainbridge, Melody was an associate at McKool Smith P.C. where she represented large financial institutions and investors in complex securities actions, as well as a wireless technology company in patent infringement actions. During law school, Melody gained experience as a pro bono law clerk at Verizon, where she spearheaded new pro bono initiatives and supported Verizon's existing pro bono initiatives in New Jersey, across the U.S., and globally. She also worked with the American Friends Service Committee, where she completed U-Visa applications for undocumented immigrant victims of crime. Melody is conversant in French and Moroccan Arabic.
